Almond Veggies December 20 2014

1 lb French green beans
3 T almond oil
3 t Sicilian lemon balsamic vinegar
1/2 t grated lemon peel
1/4 t salt (pink Himalayan)
1/8 t garlic powder
1/4 c toasted almond slivers finely chopped

Put green beans in a pan and add water to cover. Boil 8 - 10 minutes (crisp-tender).
Meanwhile whisk the oil, vinegar, lemon peel, salt and garlic powder in a bowl.
When beans are done, drain water and return beans to the pot adding the oil mixture. Stir to coat. Sprinkle with almonds and serve.
